Wii gamers will soon be getting a lineup of controllers and accessories based on the upcoming fighting game from Capcom, Tatsunoko VS. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars. Capcom has given Mad Catz the licensing rights to produce the peripherals in North America.

"We are delighted with our partnership with Capcom, and we are excited to expand the relationship with this new license," said Darren Richardson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Mad Catz. "As we have with our very successful Street Fighter(R) IV accessories, we look forward to bringing fighting games fans on the Wii platform a range of distinctive, high-quality accessories that enhance the game-playing experience of Tatsunoko VS. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars."

Does this mean a Tatsunoko VS. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars FightStick Tournament Edition controller is in the works for the Wii? Possibly, but we'll know more details soon and bring you updates on it, most likely around the time of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) and the release of Tatsunoko VS. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars on the Wii in January 2010.
