Thread: Connecting a Wii to my computer.

Is there anyway that I can set up my wii to my computer?

What I am trying to do is to create backup using this plan HOW TO backup Wii and GC Games (Better Guide) but alas, I do not have a wireless router. So instead of downloading the backup on my SD card, is there a way that the Wii can download it on to my computer via Lan cord?

I do have a router and a cable modem.

Also maybe to allow the Wii to access the internet though my computer when I want to download free Wii games.

I haven't tried it myself but you should be able to buy an Ethernet 10/100 Network Adapter USB To LAN RJ45. Attach a network 'crossover' cable from your Wii to your PC's network port.
Then you need to set up a network connection. You might be able to do this via the network wizard in Windows.

Use Wii Backup Manager instead to backup your games in your PC... extract the iso into your hard disk and burn with imageburn at 4x speed....
