Thumbs up Install CTF Themes with CXMB

Alright, you've just gotten a psp, got your freind to hack it, and just now realize that your freind's psp looks cooler. You ask,"OOH, HOW DID YOU DO THAT!?" and he goes, "Go look it up." doesn't that just tick you off! Well, Consolspot's got your answers!

Here is my tutorial on installing CTF Themes onto your psp. A CTF Theme is a higher level of theme where you can change the overall appearence/scheme of your PSP's XMB(home screen) such as the fonts, icons, backgrounds, and default pictures.

*STEP 1: Download- Ok, so to install CTF themes, you need a Plug-in called CXMB, but you have to get the version that corresponds with your PSP's CFW version. you can find all of the versions of it here.

*STEP 2: Install CXMB- Unzip/uncompress the files with WinRAR or whatever you have, and copy the folders "cxmb" and "seplugins" to ms0:\ (this is the root of your memorystick, where your main folders are, like PSP, VIDEO, PICTURE, MP_ROOT, etc.)

[Note: If you already have VSH.txt, DO NOT overwrite the file, just copy the line "ms0:/cxmb/cxmb.prx" (without quotes) onto a new line in your current VSH.txt.]

*STEP 3: Enable- To enable CXMB, go into Recovery mode (turn PSP completely off and turn it back on while holding down the right trigger), go to "plugins", and click on "cxmb.prx" until it says [enabled]. Exit Recovery Mode.

*Step 4: Get Some Themes!- You can find Themes in a ton of places, however, I recommend the [Only Registered users can see links . Click Here To Register...] (this is temporarily offline due to the server move), it is well organized and has a LARGE variety of themes.

*Step 5: Install The Theme- Place the CTF file into this folder on your memorystick: "ms0:\PSP\THEME\", then, on your PSP, go to "Theme Settings", "Theme", and choose your theme. Your system will reboot and there you have it, you've got yourself a pimped out psp.

Congratulations! Now go show off to your friends.
