Thread: UMD drive doesnt work

i need help. my psp games dont work anymore. it brings up the UMD icon under games, i click it but it freezes up

every single game. sometimes it says the disc could not be read. but usually if it comes up it goes to the screen where it says playstation portable before the game loads up and thats wen it freezes up and after a while it says the game could not be started

hmm, well i dont know, cuz ur saying it does come up on the XMB, but it wont load....

does this happen with EVERY game, or just some/one?

Either you treat your PSP badly OR your laser is broken or something.
Just do yourself a favor and buy a new PSP.
Buying a new laser will require installation, etc.
You don't want the stress. trust me.

yeah...my umd drive also spoil (i think)..it doesn't read any umd disc...it will pop-up "fail to read disc"...in the end I have to sell all my umd games......:(
