Popsloaders are plugins that allow you to run PS1 games using the PS1 emulator files from another firmware.
Some PS1 games run better under certain firmware versions (for example, FFVI , when ran on the 3.03 firmware, works perfectly fine. However, if you run in on anything higher, the game won't load any saves). and its made by dark-alex

Implementing Popsloader:
  • Turn your PSP completely off (not sleep mode)
  • Hold the R button down and turn the PSP on
  • You will end up in the Recovery Menu
  • Go to the Plugins option and enable Popsloader
How To Use Popsloader:
  • Each time you start a PSX game for the first time (after Popsloader is enabled) a menu will pop up asking you which version you want to use. The same version will be used each time the same game is started.
  • If you find the version you chose does not work well simply start the PSX game again, but while it is loading hold down the R button and choose again.
