Thread: Which Characters are Considered as Cheat Characters in the Tekken Series?

Hey Tekken Fans since i could not find a thread on this i decided to make one.

Which Character is considered a cheat character?

I think that Hwoarang and Christie are cheat characters.

nope, there's no cheat character... it all depends on character mastery... if you've familiarized their every move, you would be able to either parry or block their attacks and eventually start doing your massive counter attacks...

Really, for me it all depends on mastery and familiarity like druglord said but you still cannot remove the fact that other characters have a + on them.

For example:

Steve (I'm not a Steve user) has a rising (from crouch, or even after a downed and counter attack) 1-2 punch that will go to bound and has a massive damage.

VS.

Asuka (I'm an Asuka expert) has a rising attack from crouch or a down, a WS+2 or WS+3 or WS+1~4 that will never lead to a bound and the WS+3 launcher was nerfed a lot that it is no longerconsidered safe.

Another example:

Lars VS Asuka

Lars has lot of fakes that could lead to a high, low, mid or even a grab. Asuka has that too but the main difference is the speed in execution. Asuka's and Lars' movements are both fluid but Lars' speed is just too superior to Asuka's.


It could be preferential or something else. I can defeat a lot of players only using my Asuka and I do have extensive experience using her but there are a lot of times that it is hard to defeat a mediocre Steve user who does not even know all of his moves.

Definitely Christie and Eddie since the Capoeira style is so simplistic yet dekes out such long combos -.-. And using any of the two boss characters is just wayyy to cheap
