Gran Turismo is a great portable racing simulator for quick on the go racing. Sadly it is just that the game starts and you can quickly jump into a race with your stock car and race against three other players. The A.I. is not hard to beat there is little to no competition at all when playing with A.I. along with the blue dashes that will tell you how to drive the track and get red when you are going to fast.. One will run into the wall while in second, the other is cautious defensive driver (doesn't want to get there license revoked), and finally the fourth is the sterotypical grandma.

The game has a mode that has a little substance that is gaining the A licencse and so on and so on...... It is challanging at first. Playing these "mini games" get some what tedious. Another disadvantage is the fact it has only four teams to choose from. those are all Nissan, Toyota, Subaru, along with another random team that only has one car to sell. (those are also all the brands of the cars you can own.

The Mode I really enjoyed is the Rally experience but that got old because you are driving on dirt and it is great slip sliding around, but then you remember that this is dirt not ice that you are driving on.

Over all it is a great game and it is fun to play on the go, the graphics are great. Sound quality is great and it is nice to know that they put time and effort to the Cars the Race tracks and Racing experiences, but they could of expanded with a carrier mode to keep you hooked for more.

Hopefully there will be another GT title, and they will put more into the game play just not the aesthetics.
