From what I've determined from some members goers it doesn't seem to matter which way you position your PS3.
Both are equally efficient at dissipating heat.

However, I figured an informal poll about PS3 position may be beneficial to those interested in keeping their PS3s healthy, even if it is just mild paranoia.


My PS3 is still functioning and I sit mine vertically to the right of my LCD HDTV.
