Thread: What Wi-fi Speed Do You Get???

I have a wireless router and have been testing speeds on my laptop and my wii, wired and wireless and google g1 mobile.

Please post your speeds, am wondering if my wii is capable of faster upload speeds????

Heres what happened:

laptop
download speed 6.0 mbps
upload speed 0.6-0.8 mbps

wii wifi
download speed 2.0-3.0 mbps
upload speed 0.25-0.30 mbps

wii wired
download speed 2.0-3.0 mbps
upload speed 0.25-0.30 mbps

google G1 mobile phone
download speed 2.0-3.3 mbps
upload speed 0.25-0.30 mbps

all speed tests were done on

speedtest.net

Are you asking us to compare because you have a problem or are you just making conversation? Just asking because unless you have a problem, we already have a thread for this somewhere.

For laptop i get about 512kbps to 1mbps. And for wii wifi, i get about 1mbps. We have very few good hotspot zones.
