GT5 December demo coming

The long long long awaited arrival of Gran Turismo 5 is still ever long away, however there will be a demo of the game released on 17th December 2009.
The demo which is named 'GT Academy 2010 Time Trial' will allow the Top 20 qualifiers from each country to be invited to a national final, in which the winners will make it through to the actual GT Academy 2010.
The demo will include the Nissan 370Z and a custom circuit while the competition will close on 24th January 2010.
I wouldn't get too excited about the full game coming any time soon though. Anyone remember the previous GT5 demo which was released alongside the PS3 back in 2007...?
