MX Vs. ATV Reflex Demo Released, Retail Price Officially Reduced

THQ has officially launched the demo version of their forthcoming MX Vs. ATV Reflex for both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in Europe, and with that has also announced a number of new gameplay details. Perhaps most importantly however, is the announcement that MX Vs. ATV Reflex will be offered at European retail with a slightly reduced Recommended Retail Price (RRP).

Players will battle for position and avoid catastrophic disaster as they blitz through motocross mayhem: fight for traction and dig up the track to force the competition to carve new race lines. Dual controls let you tear it up with death-defyingElectronic Theatre Image stunts and high-flying freestyle action, as you think fast and hang on to your ride taking independent control of the rider and bike in the ultimate test of mettle.

Hone in your skills through havoc-laden environments that come alive, creating ever-changing conditions. Rush through raging rivers, slash though swampy everglades, and blaze through desert dunes as the terrain gets altered with every turn. Gain on your opponents lap after lap as you force the competition to carve new race lines, but beware, they can do the same to you.

Grapple an assortment of unique off-road beasts such as MX bikes, ATVs, Sport Buggies and Trucks to become the champion of champions. Every victory brings you closer; every upgrade equips your ride for victory. Fine-tune, tweak and customize each vehicle the way you want it, you are in control. But victory is never complete, take on friends around the world via the PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE connectivity. Battle online to see who reigns supreme within individual events and progressive event series.

All of this is ready to sample now in the MX Vs. ATV Reflex demo, available now from the Xbox LIVE Marketplace and on PlayStation Network, with the full game arriving at retail across Europe on February 5th 2010. Rather than launching with the typical 49.99 RRP however, MX Vs. ATV Reflex will be available with an RRP of only 44.99, with the likely result being retailers promoting the game for 35-40 from launch. Electronic Theatre will keep you updated with all the latest on MX Vs. ATV Reflex, and other forthcoming releases from THQ.
